Lu Yue Ming took one of her draft papers, thought to himself for a moment before saying, “Did uncle write these?”

Yang Han: “Yeah.”

Lu Yue Ming’s eyes lit up and he opened his lips to speak, but Yang Han stole the topic first, “I’m sure you’re going to ask, ‘How does Uncle Yang Mo usually tutor you’.”

“……” Lu Yue Ming said, “….Oh.”

Yang Han treated it like a normal occurrence and continued, “Before, dad was patient in tutoring me.
No matter how many times he repeated something, as long as I said ‘there’s still a bit that I don’t understand’, he would explain it again.”

After enrolling into high school, Yang Mo’s tutoring towards her became half independent.
Yang Han said bitterly, “Now, he only give me an explanation once on paper then leaves me to fend for myself.”

Lu Yue Ming couldn’t help but laugh out laugh and said, “It’s good for you.
High school is a transitional period to self-learning after all.”

“Fine…” Yang Han lamented on it for a while before glancing at the large pile of papers in her hands.
She pulled herself out of it and said to Lu Yue Ming, “Then, how do you solve this question…”

“H-How do you solve this question…”

Mi Shu had been holding it in for a long time.

It felt like the space between the three of them were a vacuum, without the slightest possibility of spreading a single sound.
The silence almost suffocated her.

“Which one.”

Han Shi Yu and Yang Mo were only a small distance away from each other.
One was reading the newspaper, the other was looking at his phone.
When they heard her question, they replied at the same time.

The two looked at each other.

Mi Shu said, “A…A physics question…on thermal science…”

Han Shi Yu pursued his lips and watched as Yang Mo moved his stool over to Mi Shu.
He saw the phone that Yang Mo casually placed down on the table.
The screen was showing an electronic textbook.
He actually took this tutoring situation seriously and was reviewing high school physics knowledge.

Han Shi Yu continued to sit in his spot, spreading out the newspaper in front of him while letting his gaze linger on them.

Mi Shu: “But this pistol tells the thickness already…”

Yang Mo: “Compared to the length of the cylinder, that can be ignored.
You will encounter many questions like this in the future that ask you to estimate it, which you can ignore some of the figures at your discretion…”

Han Shi Yu’s fingers slowly tapped on the newspaper.

After the explanation, Mi Shu was enlightened.
Yang Mo gave her another summary of information and tips on this topic, which Mi Shu felt touched like she had received some treasures.
She continued to pull out more math questions, pointing at the derivative problems and crying over them.

After Yang Mo taught her the almighty L’Hôpital’s rule in a simple way, it was like something opened up in her mind as she worked on the questions like the autumn wind sweeping the leaves.

Two hours had passed.
Mi Shu hugged Yang Mo and cried gratefully, “Ge, ge, I don’t regret scamming the 10 yuan from you.
Even if you’re here for revenge, it’s still worth it to me.”

Yang Mo: “……”

Han Shi Yu let out a cough.

Mi Shu let go of Yang Mo and looked at him.

Han Shi Yu folded the newspapers and smiled, “After studying for so long, do you want to take a break?”

Mi Shu nodded and said, “Sure.” She got up and said, “I’ll go cut some fruits for you guys…”

The door closed and only Yang Mo and Han Shi Yu were left in there.

The atmosphere was quiet for a while.
Yang Mo spoke up first, his fingers curled up and asked, “What have you been up to these days.”

Han Shi Yu said, “Studying.”

Yang Mo said, “Are you that busy.”

Han Shi Yu: “Still manageable.”

Yang Mo switched on his phone and scrolled through it aimlessly, saying, “I haven’t seen any activities from you lately, so I thought you were really busy.”

Han Shi Yu replied, “You said, you don’t like me disturbing you.”

The air returned to the previous uncomfortable silence suddenly.

Yang Mo’s fingers came to a stop, unintentionally pressing down on an app and his phone prompting him if he wanted to uninstall it.
Yang Mo answered back, like he had been holding it in all along, “When did I say that.”

Han Shi Yu: “Last week at the canteen.”

Yang Mo frowned, “I only said, ‘do as you wish’, when was I that absolute.”

Han Shi Yu blinked a little, as if he understood something and he asked, “Then, you like it?”

Yang Mo put his phone aside, looked him in the eyes and said, “Han Shi Yu, can you not act like a child who only sees things in black or white.”

“What is there to argue about this,” Han Shi Yu said, “I’m only asking if you are okay with me following you around all day.
The answer can only be yes or no.
You said ‘do as I wish’, then that’d still be my intentions.
I want to know how you think instead…”

Yang Mo rubbed the crease between his eyebrows after hearing that.
His nature was never one to think that much.
He said with a headache, “What are you dwelling so much on.
It’s not like we’re dating.”

Han Shi Yu said frankly, “Because I want to go to you.
But I’m afraid you’ll find me annoying.”

Yang Mo propped his forehead up, “I won’t.”

Han Shi Yu instantly brightened up happily, “You should’ve said so earlier.”

Yang Mo: “There’s a problem with your wording.”

It wasn’t just a small difference between “do you like it or not” and “do you want it or not”.
Even if you added a buff to Yang Mo’s face, he still couldn’t say his answer out loud for the former one.

Han Shi Yu raised an eyebrow, understanding his meaning and asked, “Ge, you’re single, right?”

Yang Mo: “Why?”

Han Shi Yu smiled, “Actually, I don’t mind if you think of me as your little boyfriend.”

Yang Mo said plainly, “You’ve found the wrong person.
I don’t swing that way.”

Han Shi Yu, who made a fool of himself, said, “…I was only joking.”

Yang Mo stared at him with no intention of laughing.

Mi Shu opened the door and entered as the brief conversation between the two ended.
She carried a plate of watermelons and put it on the table, “Thank you for your hard work.
Have these to quench your thirst.”

Yang Mo brought over some drinks for them and saw Yang Han who fainted in the pile of homework.
He sighed, curling his fingers a little and gently knocked on her head.

The dying Yang Han with her last breath said, “Dad…For all morning, I did ten papers on nine subjects.”

Yang Mo looked at Lu Yue Ming.
He became her witness, certifying that she did not lie or cheated by copying his answers.

Yang Mo nodded his head, noticed the time and realized it wasn’t early anymore so he wanted to ask Lu Yue Ming to stay for a meal.
Lu Yue Ming originally wanted to reject his offer but Yang Han begged him to stay for another afternoon.
It was too much trouble to go back and return in the middle of the day, so he agreed to having lunch together.

Han Shi Yu went to the headquarters and stayed for many days after Chinese New Year.
He only returned after settling everything and just got off the plane today.
He was driven home at noon.
When he entered the house, he saw Lu Yue Ming and said, “Oh, there’s a guest.”

Lu Yue Ming, “Hello, uncle.”

Han Shi Yu said hello to him too.

“Mo— Look who’s back.” He hung up his suit and went to the kitchen to get a hug from Yang Mo, replenishing his energy.
After receiving a “get lost”, he took a bottle of cocktail from the refrigerator, sank into the couch and started to scroll through his phone.

Yang Han, who had her energy emptied by her homework was also spread out on the couch.

Han Shi Yu could only occupy a narrow space, so he said, “You, get up and move away.”

Yang Han: “I came first, so find another place.”

The pair of father and daughter fought for a while and finally decided to split the territory equally.

Sitting next to Yang Han was Lu Yue Ming, who smiled but did not say anything.
It seemed like this president was no different from an ordinary person after getting off work.

Suddenly, a message came from Yang Han’s phone.
“Hm?” She focused on it and saw that Liu Zuo Ye, whom she messaged a day ago, had replied.

Liu Zuo Ye: “Sorry, I just got back from my hometown.”

She sent another message: “Is it okay to meet up now? I’m free.”
