Not your ideal BL novel

A second man entered the dining room wearing a custom-tailored suit which looked very expensive. He had sharp features and was a face that belonged to the TV. It was to the point that it even felt strange to see such a handsome person in real life.

He strode over naturally to the fourth seat and sat sound quietly, all the while his eyes were fixed on his phone screen. His expression distorted for a second but then returned to normal.

”Ha, whats up with this script? They write such a boring one and expect me to play in it. What if theyve got the top director- ”

With one hand, their dad confiscated his phone and lightly chided, ”No phone on the table, Alex. You know the rules. ”

The man, who appeared quite hot-headed before, didn get angry at being scolded like this at all. Instead, he smiled helplessly as he apologized softly, ”Sorry, ah. I was just so annoyed at that scriptwriter. Anyways, what were you guys talking about? ”

Their dad was also reminded of the earlier issue and explained their earlier conversation a little worriedly. It seemed that their dad in this world had a bad habit of worrying about everything.

”Mom? You guys were asking about your mom? ”

He raised an eyebrow as he looked at both Willow and Adelia questioningly. With some hesitation, Willow nodded his head and asked, ”Why? ”

How were they supposed to respond to this? Does someone need a reason to ask about their mom? And who was this man anyway?!? The plot just keeps getting weirder and weirder! System? System?! Where the heck are you?!

Adel! See what you did? How are we going to get out of it?

I didn know it would get so awkward! Mom was the only topic I thought we could talk about without things getting weird. Also, there was one more set of cutlery! Any normal person would come to the same conclusion as me!

Who is this man by the way? AAH! Hes looking at us like hes expecting an answer!! What are we gonna say? What do we even call him?

Adel, listen to me this time. ”

Sighing in his heart, Willow sincerely hoped his guess to be correct.

Lets just call him uncle. Our dad is already here, so he can only be an uncle. Even if he isn , he looks close enough with our family for us to call him that.

”Cat got your tongue? ” Alexs patience finally ran out. ”Why aren you guys answering? Need me to write a special invitation for it? ”

This time, Willow spoke first, ”Uh, no, uncle- ”

Before he could finish, a scream rang in his head.

They both stood up almost at the same time and quickly said their greetings before running off to Willows room.

It was Adelia who spoke now, and even Willow was scared by her sudden shout. But can you blame her? She was about to lose her mind due to the amount of awkwardness there!

”Umm, those two were your dads. ”

”Dads? ” Willow tilted his head in confusion.

”The one who came to take Willow is Robert Evans, a well-known businessman. ”

A profile with his name, a picture, and other information appeared on the screen.

”And the other one is Alex Astor, a famous movie actor. ” The previous one was replaced by another profile in the same format.

”You are their children in this world. Although not fully related, you two have the same mother. ”

Adelia suddenly had a very bad premonition because this situation sounded a little too much like a novel she read before getting killed.

”System, please tell me it isn some weird plot like they both loved the same woman and then she first married him then divorced him and married the second one, and died and we
e her children. ”

”Wait, Adel. We don have to develop a relationship between us for the novel right? ”

”Are you done? ” The system asked exasperatedly. He didn have a whole day to watch this narcissistic girl rant about herself.

”Anyway, as you might have guessed, Willow here is the main character. The bottom, to be exact. ”

”The male lead, whom you have to capture to develop the plot, is Charlie Taylor, the young master of the Taylor family. Like any stereotypical male lead, he has abundant wealth, perfect grades, and an even more perfect face. ”
