Damien didn ’t say anything but continued to look at her as if looking at a dead person, which irked Deathclaw since she felt as if he was disregarding her existence and wasn ’t taking her seriously at all.

He had never heard of any Deathclaw, but then again, he was not in the mental state to remember about vague things.

Deathclaw slowly sashayed forward as she licked her steel claws, ”Do you know that Merlin basically hired me for free? Damien snorted as he fired a bullet at her before she could finish her bubble. His movements were extremely quick enough for an ordinary human to be unable to react.

But just before the bullet could hit Deathclaw ’s head, she suddenly disappeared from the spot and zoomed to the side, easily dodging the bullet.

”Speedster… ” Damien mumbled as he felt that this was a headache indeed since without his powers, it would be hard to deal with someone as powerful and troublesome as her.

He tightly gripped his sword as he perked his ears as he maximized his senses since he would have to rely on them to have a chance at taking her down.

Nathasia felt her heart pounding against her chest as she saw how fast Deathclaw dodged that bullet and wondered how they were going to defeat someone who moved too fast to be tracked by naked eyes.

Feeling anxious, she raised her pistol and aimed at Deathclaw, who seemed least bothered and instead amusedly smiled as she said, ”Fufufu, who is that little kitty behind you, devil? I take it that she is your little girlfriend? Awww, how sweet. Maybe I should play with her before you and show how beautiful her blood is before I play with you, hm? ”

Damien could see that this Deathclaw woman was a sadist and someone who loved to toy with her targets before killing them. However, he was in no mood to indulge, and it was either do or die for him, and he seemed least bothered about her threatening Nathasia.
