The Weakest Tamer Trash Picking Journey Begins

Latos Village’s adventurers’ area was deserted, so I was able to sleep well.

About 5 days after I left Latos village, my fear of tree monster had finally calmed down.

I was glad that I could rest well in the forest now.

As I walked along the village road, I sensed a lot of presence slightly far away, so I hid Sora in my bag.

After some time passed, I could see a group of adventurers walking towards me.

There were too many people there to call them a team.

I moved to the edge of the village road, and waited for them to go past.

As I watched them going past, I noticed that there were some people wearing slave rings.

The adventurer repeatedly warned a kid who I thought was his family to be careful.

He warned them to not trust people too much during the journey, and to not approach people like one would do to monsters in the forest.

In addition, he also warned them to not approach injured people seeking help when they were alone.

Apparently, there were some bandits who disguised themselves as injured person and attacked people.

The fortune teller warned me about bandits, but she didn’t tell me anything about bandits who kidnapped people.

There are two kinds of slaves, criminal slaves and debt slaves.

Criminal slaves are those criminals who are managed by the country to serve as slaves until the end of their prison term.

Debt slaves are those people who borrowed money but can’t repay it.

I wonder if the adventurers brought along debt slaves?

I heard that criminal slaves were hunted out in the country’s operation, and they did difficult jobs.

I heard from those talking in the adventurers’ area that some adventurers failed to carry out their requests and were burdened by debts.

Let’s be careful to not be caught as slaves.

As I will be heading to large villages and towns, there are some places that attract bandits.

I have to brace myself because I’m on a journey alone, thus an easy target.

I had seen tamed slimes for several times already, but all of them had muddy color.

Some of them even had beautiful colors, but not translucent.

Sora was translucent blue.
