Now that I had calmed down, should I set up wild rabbits’ traps?

According to the book, wild rabbits seemed to move around early in the morning.

Because it was written that they did not move around much during the day and night, I would have to wait until tomorrow morning to see the result.

I made 4 wild rabbits’ traps yesterday.

I put them in my bag and headed towards the forest.

As I looked inside the bag dedicated for Sora, it was sleeping comfortably.

After I went quite deep in the forest, I searched for any presence.

There seemed to be no sign of people nearby.

I had to hold Sora with care, or else it would drop fall down.

I searched for traces of wild rabbits in base of trees and holes on the ground while holding Sora.

After I searched for about an hour, I found droppings of small animals.

I looked around the surroundings, and discovered some footprints as well as scrape marks on the trees.

I examined the footprints, and because they were highly likely to be wild rabbits’, I set up a trap nearby.

I also set up other traps where I found similar traces.

After I finished setting up all the traps, I left them be and headed to the dumpster.

I wanted to search for materials for making field mice’s traps.

When I almost reached the dumpster, Sora suddenly jumped down from my arms.

When I was still surprised, Sora leaped up and down, and went towards a different direction from the dumpster.

 

“Sora?”

 

As I quickly ran after Sora while searching for any presence, I faintly sensed a presence from some distance away.

Because there was no other presence nearby, Sora must be heading that way.

I followed Sora with doubts in my mind.

A huge animal was lying there, with its body smeared red with blood.

The monster in front of us appeared to be more than 2 meters in size.

I didn’t think Sora would be able to wrap it completely.

But Sora completely wrapped the monster.

The wounded monster also seemed to be a little confused by Sora’s action, but it calmed down after a while.

I heard whooshing sound from Sora’s direction.

…But even there was any presence approaching, I couldn’t run away.

After a while, Sora leaped towards my feet.

Sora changed its sound a little.

However, it was still a relaxing sound.

I looked towards the monster Sora released…it looked tough.

I had seen it in my book, perhaps it was called Adandara.

I heard one would die if one encounter Adandara in the forest.

The Adandara stood up and stretched its body.

Can I escape?

As I moved my feet a little, the Adandara immediately looked at me.

I shut my eyes tightly when I heard the Andandara growled and approached me.

The Adandara sniffed me for a while and nuzzled my head with its face.

So that’s why it didn’t attack me?

Sora was playfully jumping up and down and stretching vertically.
